Introduction

A vfs read-only file system for accessing web-resources using normal file operations.

Interface

[class] <http-file-system>

A subclass of <vfs:file-system> that accesses files over HTTP.

The following methods are implemented

vfs:open-input-file
vfs:file-exists?

The HTTP protocol 1.0 is used (persistent connnections are not supported). HTTP redirects are followed (but note that file-exists? will return the original pathname).
