simple-tests

This module exports two macros and two commands, which help to debug and to test scheme code. The commands simply pretty-print the results of expand and expand* respectively. The first macro, xpr:val, prints its expression arguments and their values with some decoration. It is intended to be inserted in the code, but it will be evaluated only in interpreted code. The other macro, run-tests, simply evaluates its argument expressions and report if they succedd or fail, together with a summary.

The routines

pe

[procedure] (pe macro-code)

command ((old new (lambda (x) #t)))

(pe macro-code)
requires #t
ensures "pretty-prints expanded macro-code"

pe*

[procedure] (pe* macro-code)

command ((old new (lambda (x) #t)))

(pe* macro-code)
requires #t
ensures "pretty-prints fully expanded macro-code"

run-tests

[syntax] (run-tests xpr . xprs)

hygienic, keys ()

(run-tests xpr . xprs)
requires #t
ensures "runs each test expression, xpr, and prints success or failure"

xpr:val

[syntax] (xpr:val xpr . xprs)

hygienic, keys ()

(xpr:val xpr . xprs)
requires #t
ensures "prints each xpr and its value in interpreted code"

Requirements

dbc

expand-full
