[[tags:logo]] == CHICKEN logos! Here are a few versions of our current logo: [[image:http://bugs.call-cc.org/export/30584/art/jgriffith-logo/chicken-muted-sm.png]] [[image:http://bugs.call-cc.org/export/30584/art/jgriffith-logo/chicken-colored-sm.png]] [[image:http://bugs.call-cc.org/export/30584/art/jgriffith-logo/chicken-glass-side-md.png]] [[http://bugs.call-cc.org/browser/art/jgriffith-logo/|Vector source files and HD rasters.]] (by Joshua Griffith) --- [[image:http://web.archive.org/web/20120325050340/http://www.irp.oist.jp/raikov/origami-chicken.png]] (by Ivan Raikov) --- Our current logo was a community-driven effort. Its evolution might be interesting for history buffs. This image is what it started with: [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/Sarah_Scheme_Chicken_New.png]] new image also by sarah [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/schemechicken.png]] (by sarah) --- This design inspired a few shoot-offs by Moe Aboulkheir: [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/chicken2.png]] [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/chicken3.png]] The above is my current favorite. It gets rid of the interior "y" join at the chicken's wing, which clutters many of the other versions. The lambda is easily seen. The color scheme is working, although other color schemes are certainly possible. I do think the top of the chicken's tail is too fluffy, like a bunny rabbit. - Brandon Van Every [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/chicken4.png]] The top of this chicken's tail is more chicken-like. - Brandon Van Every --- Nelson Castillo created this. The idea was to make the lambda visible: [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/chicken-nc.png]] --- The logo we used before: [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/chicken.png]] Here a modification, by Category 5: [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/chicken-cat5.png]] --- Real funky 3D logo by Joshua Griffith: [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/chicken-3d-small.png]] [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/chicken-3d-cutout-small.png]] (originals '''were''' here: http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/logos/chicken-3d.png and http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/logos/chicken-3d-cutout-small.png) More nice art by Joshua Griffith: [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/chicken-desktop-small.png]] [[http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/chicken-desktop.jpg|(full size)]] [[image:http://www.call-cc.org/pictures/wiki/logos/old-logo.png]] --- A Lisp/Scheme cloth badge design by Alaric Snell-Pym: [[image:http://www.snell-pym.org.uk/photos/scheme-badge.png]] A friend had it embroidered for me: [[image:http://snell-pym.org.uk/photos2/2009-12-16%20Alaric_s_Lisp_Lambda_badge-medium.jpeg]] You can have the SVG master file here (it uses an Apple font, so looks odd on non-Macs): [[http://www.snell-pym.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/scheme-badge.svg]] == Spiffy logos === Powered by Spiffy Mario Domenech Goulart created this spiffy "powered by spiffy" logo: [[image:http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/chicken-users/2006-03/pngwXQXUUJQOL.png]] Two more variations by Mario are these: [[image:http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/chicken-users/2006-03/png1BAhP1zX2G.png]] [[image:http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/chicken-users/2006-03/pngNT1M2SDTvr.png]] A variation by Daishi Kato that fixes the way the Y looks when turned upside down into a lambda: [[image:http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/chicken-users/2006-03/pngrGITAVHwOp.png]] == Code Hosting Logos Some logos created for various code hosting sites. Vector versions also available on the repo: https://bitbucket.org/Timusan/chicken-artwork === Bitbucket [[image:https://bitbucket.org/Timusan/chicken-artwork/raw/tip/bitbucket-logo-small.png]] [[image:http://i.imgur.com/ihGcsmF.png]]
