Documentation

Provides variants of the error procedure.

error/no-raise

[procedure] (error/no-raise [ARG...])

Displays a message just like error but does not raise an error.

*error/no-raise

[procedure] (*error/no-raise ARGS)

A unary version of error/no-raise.

errorf

[procedure] (errorf [LOCATION] FORMAT [ARG...])

Invoke error with a message built by the (error-format-procedure).

Should the argument list not match the criteria for a format argument list then the arguments are passed directly to error. The point being errorf will raise an error.

error-format-procedure

[procedure] (error-format-procedure) => procedure
[procedure] (error-format-procedure FORMAT)

Gets & sets the FORMAT procedure used by errorf. The default is the Unit extras format.

For I18N situations format-compiler-base format would be a better choice.

Usage

(require-extension error-utils)
